Aeros v. San Antonio 4/12: Some Quick Postgame Notes

Andrew will be here with his post-game story, and I'll have my wrap-up, and Heather's comments and Fred's photos later. But here's a few quick notes regarding the upcoming playoffs that I thought I would go ahead and share.

First. Barry Brust is definitely out for the first round. That's what Constantine told us after the game. He did not re-aggravate the previous injury, but it is similar to the one that kept him out for a month.

Two. Constantine still does not know about the availability of Nolan Schaefer. They are hoping that he will be ready for game one against Peoria, but right now, they just don't know.

Three. Speaking of Peoria. Game One will be in Peoria on Wednesday night, with a game time set for 7:00. Game Two will be in Peoria on Friday night, with a game time also set for 7:00. Games Three, Four, and Five will be in Houston. But the dates of those games will remain unknown until the Rockets have their playoff schedule figured out. And the Rockets get first priority when it comes to Toyota Center. Games Six and Seven (if necessary) will be in Peoria on Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 and Monday, April 27, also at 7:00

And while this isn't the quality of Mr. Fred's superb work, here's an iPhone photo that I took of the gathered up hats that were thrown onto the ice after the Kolanos hat trick.
