Aeros lead 4-2 after two

The passing got better, but the penalty kill got worse.
(Oh look, it's Clammy Sosa and Monkey Mantle and Clammy just ate a guy. Not sure if that was in the script, but he appeared to enjoy it.)

The Aeros scored (check this out) four goals on six shots in the second period, but instead of this game being a blowout, the Rampage only trail by two because the Aeros are having a bad month killing penalties and Anton Khudobin does not appear to be very good when challenged by a single player. In fact, it looked like he flat out quit paying attention to a fluttering puck on their second goal. From my angle, maybe the puck was too far away and out of his reach, but instead of catching it, Anton let it hit the ice and Wyatt Smith banged it home for a goal.

But now to the good stuff. Kolanos has two goals and now has 30 on the year. Bryan Lundbohm made Josh Tordjman pay for just about handing him the puck when he misplayed a shot by Clayton Stoner. And Matt Beaudoin (where have you been) scored his 11th of the season when he converted a big, fat juicy rebound with 1:26 left in the period.

Kolanos has 30 goals and 50 points in just 44 games. Locke has two assists tonight and now has 54 helpers on the season to go along with 25 goals. Brandon Rogers also has two assists and is a team-high plus two (PLUS-EFFING-TWO!) through 40 minutes.
