ESPN is reporting just now that Jacques Lemaire, recently departed coach of the Minnesota Wild, has signed on to coach the New Jersey Devils. More info as we get it.

Strange, I thought Lemaire "retired".
Nope. He just resigned from the Wild. Said all along he wanted to remain in coaching, though it looked like, until Sutter left NJ, he might just take a consulting gig with Tampa Bay.
