IceHawks would be better. I agree, "heat" and "Canada" are an oxymoron.
Heat is fine.. you could then abbreviate it to THE AH!!! LOL

Makes sense, Flames = big club, little flames = heat. Next down the line in the ECHL can be the Luke Warms.
