Just a caveat, Heather was right about long-legged blondes where red bikinis, that said, I have no idea how they do the actual judging, and I kind of liked the young lady with brunette hair wearing the silver bikini.
Does anybody know who the dweeb with the hair and Astros cap is? He's got to learn that hockey is played in periods, with intermissions, not quarters, with halves and half times.
This photo is for Heather. She mentioned that she's never seen any of the women slip. Well, while none of the ladies fell on the ice, our winner, the young lady in red, did slip. This photo is as she is regaining her balance. But Heather had kind of tuned things out at this point.

The idiot moronic dweeb is from FM 94.5 radio, as to his name, I do not know. on their website he only goes by initials. "A.D."
Also, considering the winner only shows up at an Aeros game one more time, which is game the following year to pass on the crown, why do the Aeros even do this?
They should make them sign a marketing appearances contract to promote the team if they win before they can enter the contest. Have them give out the GA tickets at bars or such, get on the radio shows and promote the Aeros; that would be good advertising for the Aeros.
And how are they selected is a good question. They should have selected the brunette in the polka dot bikini, just for being in the Air Force, plus she was really pretty also
I thought they used to do a "vote by cheer" kinda thing. This year, I look down, tweeting or something, and I look up and they're putting a crown in the blonde. WTF?
The Aeros do this for one reason: sex sells. One of their best attendance nights every year is when they have the bikini contest, and unlike with the games with the school kids, which are always full, on bikini night, the fans are paying full price.
So that's why they do it. To juice attendance get some energy in the building.

True sex sales, but to only take advantage of the opportunity one time is what I am saying is stupid. They should have an upfront marketing campaign for the lady so as to promote the team.
Similar to the way the Lady Aerodynamics have to make all of their public appearances.
Bobby R: I agree with you re that, but then again, I think you're asking them to take the long view when at times they have problems with even taking a good short term view.
It's all for publicity. I agree that the former Airforce gal should have gotten the crown. She, at least to me, seemed like she had a brain.

My apologies. I did not know about the GA upper deck thing. But I can guarantee they made a lot more money last night with this special than they did on school kid day, or on about any other game this year. And that's what it's all about. And you should know by now that no matter what the STH will be screwed over.
