Max Noreau: All-Star

I mentioned this earlier today on Twitter, but for all those of you who don't follow our twitter feed -- how dare you -- the news is that defenseman Max Noreau was named to the AHL All Star game.

This is the second year in a row that Noreau's made the all star team. And once again, he's more than deserving. He's the team second-leading scorer (7-16=23) behind Robbie Earl. He's tied for second among AHL defenseman with five power play goals, and he's second among AHL defenseman with 116 shots on goal.

So let's all say congrats to Noreau the next time we see him.

And well done. Well done indeed.

Max is certainly deserving. Maybe the PA guy will give him recognition at our next home game....and maybe he will even get his name correct.

Yeah, just like they need to get Daoust number correct on the game sheet. He was listed as #12.

There's a lot of stuff on those Game Note sheets that is incorrect. The other night, Lake Erie Monsters were listed as in the Western Conference. Then Sunday San Antonio was listed as #1 in our Division. They had already slipped to #2 and on Sunday were #3 and that was before our game began. No attention to details...it might take a few minutes to get it accurate.

Lake Erie are Western Conference (but North Division)

I misspoke...the printed Games Notes showed Lake Erie in the West Division (not conference).
