The Complaint Box Is Closed

That's it. No more. I read Heather's post below on the game yesterday, and went to check the comments. And for some reason that I can't even begin to fathom, the comments were about the attendance in San Antonio. And all I can wonder is: what the fuck is wrong with you people?

So that's it. No more. There are to be no more comments from anybody bitching about anything at Toyota Center or about how the poor season ticket holder feel dissed. No more unsolicited comments about the PA. No more unsolicited comments about how the crowd acts, or how you don't like the daytime kid games. No more comments about how loud the music volume is, or anything that doesn't deal with the game on the ice. I don't want to see any more comments on how great is was under Chuck Watson.

No more. The comments will not be approved. If one slips through, I will delete it.

Now one caveat: if I or Andrew of Heather should mention about the games op we didn't like, or mention something that should open the door to a comment, then it gets through. But there is to be no more of this crap like the post below where, instead of commenting on the game, you comment on how San Antonio counted attendance.

Think of it like this. Imagine you're one of the players who read the blog. After you've just won an important game, one that's put you into first place, you come over here and see that there's a post on the game. Now how would you feel if you went to the comments and there wasn't one damn comment on the actual game, but just a bunch of crap on how San Antonio didn't let you get seats in the section you wanted?

Well, gang. I hate to air our internal conflict on the blog, but I can't let this post sit here with anybody thinking this was put together with any kind of consensus among John, Andrew and me. I don't care what you talk about in the comments as long as it isn't attacking individuals inappropriately. I thought the attendance thing was interesting, considering they were calling it a sell out, which was the genesis of the conversation.

I'm generally very proud of this site and honored that you read us and want to talk about the Aeros here. Needless to say, I personally don't agree with this post in tone or in content.

But on the bright side, my heart rate is nice and high for my game tonight!

So, is John officially complaining about the complaining? ...oops....

Admittedly that one comment in question did look a little strange, like the ones you see on Amazon when somebody got something dead in the box.

Hey! You kids get off my lawn!

Just so we're clear, the Media/John is enforcing censorship? Did not see that coming.

I am sorry some people took offense to my comment about not being able to move to a better seat when there was plenty of seating down lower that was empty. It was a response to Ms. Conducts comments on the empty seats. It was even a complaint.

... so no one wants to hear it and everyone puts up with it. i deeply love the aeros but not their front office. i've been abused one too many times. aeros fb page deletes negative comments, so i'm doing the only other thing i know to do, and that is to not renew my season tickets next year.

After reading a post like the above, for people to continue reading this blog leads to only one question..."what the fuck is wrong with you people?"

People read this blog because it is the best "fan" blog of all the teams in the West division.

It is definitely a Top 3 in the Western Conference, and it might be one of the best in all the league.

We are always open as to how to make the blog better. We take comments and suggestions from everyone, include those who choose to remain anonymous.

It is the best "fan" blog - or at least it WAS until Royal, who complains about everything (often NOT hockey related), deems your point whining. Then he'll throw out an F bomb, demean your opinion and belittle your experience.

Maybe if you guys BOUGHT some tickets you would see things differently.
