Photos Of A Non-Goal

The Aeros dominated the Stars from start to finish. They could have easily blown this game wide open but at several times, especially in the first period, they came up just short, as in this sequence. Jon DiSalvatore attempts to punch the puck in from close range. In the third photo, you can see the puck just at Brent Krahn's skate, just short of the line. And though DiSalvatore starts to celebrate, the puck never crossed the line, and in the final photo, you can see the puck on the far right of the photo, rolling away from the goal.

Yeah, the "non-goal" really chapped my behind. The puck was clearly in and out. That goal judge has missed three goals this season. I think he must be asleep most of the time.

Sure looked to me like the puck went in and ricocheted back out. Those pictures do not show the puck across the line but they don't show that the puck didn't cross the line either.
