Robbie Earl Goes Wild, and It Might Just Get Wild

The news is that Robbie Earl is on his way back to Minnesota, which means that Brandon Rogers might be on his way back to center. But that's not the truly interesting part. As Wild beat writer Michael Russo attempts to explain, Earl's playing for the Wild tonight could, or could not, depending on the conditions under which he plays, mean that he might, or might not, depending on the alignment of Venus and Mars, have to clear waivers to return to Houston.

John, not only cosmic allignments, you forgot to factor in the effect of devastated Canadian psyches following Team Canada's loss to the USA in the gold medal game of the IIHF juniors championship last night.

Well then, el Nino should probably be a consideration too.

Verification word: othel ... The Aeros will need to make "othel" arrangements if "Robbie Earl Goes Wild."

Forecheck: add NEN to that and you have a Finnish name

I'm all for Texas independence - would be great to see another hockey team in the World Champs. Texas vs Mongolia should be quite interesting.
Mike Christie, Brian Leetch, Tyler Myers are the Texas-born NHLers (miss anyone?). Does anybody have the list for AHL/IHL players?

All for TX independence here,too.

As far as Team Texas, were probably a good ten years from getting some Texas raised NHL talent. Even if we have the talent, it's hard getting good coaches.
