And while we're tossing out updates, here's mine for Pro Hockey News. Nothing you guys don't already know because you're loyal T3I readers, but there it is, just the same.
I'll be tweeting the game this morning, when I don't have my fingers in my ears to stop the bleeding from the thousands of shrill children, so if you're stuck at work, feel free to follow along at http://twitter.com/3rdintermission.
Also, I just got an alert that some Aeros players will be in attendance at the tree lighting in Sugar Land tonight.
Activities include pony and train rides, a petting zoo, games and food. There will even be a few players from the Houston Aeros to join in on the food. So, you know, don't go expecting the Aeros to be in the petting zoo (darn) or riding ponies, but do get there early if you want to beat them to the food. ;)

The game hasn't started yet, and I'm already glad I brought some ear plugs from work. So far, no kids in my row or the adjoining rows. An adults only section for STHs would be nice.
At the end of one, and a couple of threes indicate it's maybe not a good idea to start a game when the guys have normally just rolled out of bed- three shots for the 3ampage, and three bad line changes by the boys in green. Too many men on the ice twice, not enough once. Lessard awake enough to get a game misconduct for being himself.
The guys came out on fire and scored three times in the first four minutes of the second. Then they got lazy and stopped playing (sound familiar?) Surrendering three in just over two minutes. Result? A great effort wasted by a few minutes inattention. Add in another goal, and it's 4-3 San Antonio. Dubie now in net.
Second Intermission. No signs of smoke nor flames coming from the Aeros' locker room, though - suspect more than a few behinds are getting toasted.
Third period and the Aeros are sucking big time. Six straight goals by the last place Rampage. Can we get Hoggan back? He's playing better than any of our guys. Of course, anyone who can be thought of as "playing" is playing better than our guys.
What a waste of half a day of vacation!
