Earl and Sifers reassigned to the Aeros

As the Aeros return home from a successful road trip, they'll get a few days to recover before returning to game action against San Antonio on Thursday morning.

They will also likely (barring another call-up) have the added bonus of the return of Robbie Earl and Jaime Sifers, who were both reassigned to Houston by the Wild this morning.

Presumably some of the Wild regulars are close to returning. But the Wild don't play again until Wednesday, and given the injury and illness problems up there, I wouldn't expect the revolving door to stop spinning. Per Russo tweet: "Sifers will be back if Zidlicky can't play Wednesday. Wild will figure out statuses of injured guys at practice tomorrow"

With any luck, it will at least slow down, as things are looking up for the parent club as much as for the farm team, which is good for stability at both ends of the organization. With regular line-ups, perhaps both teams can get some solid traction and take advantage of that mo-mo-momentum Andrew was talking about.

In case you missed it, here's Earl's goals a few games ago. His first two as an NHLer.
