The Wild's Chuck Kobasew was injured in last night's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, so the team has called up LW Robbie Earl to play in Washington tonight. His number will be 38 if you're planning on watching.
Robbie has 9 NHL games under his belt with the Maple Leafs. He currently leads Aeros scoring with 5 goals and 3 assists and a +1. Earl had 9 points in all of 33 regular season games last season with the Aeros, so he's clearly on pace to have a career year.

So, if he's a healthy scratch tonight, does he have time to get himself to Cleveland by 8 AM for a 1 PM EST game? Probably not. Dang. There go the Wild again, messing with our players! :)
Good for Robbie....hope he'll make an impact with the Wild and stick?
A well-deserved opportunity for a hard-scrabble player with a great work ethic.
Unfortunately for the pending LEM back-back series, when subtracting Earl's 5 goals, the 3 leading scorers of Lake Erie (Durno, Haydar, and Bradford) have more combined goals (34) than the Aeros (32), as a team. Moreover, the Aeros have, yet, to post ANYONE on the top 100 AHL scorers roster this season.
The Aeros may well need a shutout to win against Tyler Weiman, tonight.
I don't think the Wild are traveling with any extra forwards so I think he plays.
