Noreau elected to All-Star Team

Defenseman Max Noreau, who leads all AHL blueliners with nine goals, was selected to the Canadian All-Star team.

Here is the link to the press release:

As far as the Planet USA roster is concerned, that will be released later.
Until recently, I thought Khudobin might be a shoe-in.
Now I am not so sure.
He has not won a game in more than a month.

"Glory, Glory, Halleluia"
Congratulations and "Tres Bonne Chance", Maxim! You have definitely earned this spot.
Go out there and show them (alas you'll be winning FOR Canada NOT USA). I did vote for you :-D!
But what a great plus for AEROS.. may the promo guys make the most of THAT, and it would be even better IF AK makes the USA team or maybe another AEROS, though who?
Also, so very nice for CatTrick among other fans, that Corey Locke is on the team.. he is going to be a huge (in scoring that is) asset!
Almost makes me wanna brave ice and snow to be there, almost! ;-) I don't do winter very well anymore, alas!

Fantastic for Maxim Noreau ... I voted for him too, artandhockey, and of course, for Corey Locke!!!

Glad to see Andrew's second thoughts on Khudobin making Planet USA are evidently without merit ... Congrats Anton!

In December, Anton is 0-4.
He has given up an average of 3.64 goals every 60 minutes and has stopped less than 86 percent (.852) percent of the shots he's faced.

Before that, though, he was incredible, and I salute the AHL for looking at his full body of work.

He obviously is way out of rhythm, and that is why I think you just might see him play every minute of three of the next four games.

If I am running the team, I play Anton Tonight, Friday and Sunday. That way he gets to play every other day and he can be evaluated against some of the best offensive teams in the league.

I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out.
