Welcome Back AHL Live

Just a note...

For those of you unable to travel up to Winnipeg for this weekend's games, you will, like last year, be able to watch them on AHL Live. And I believe, if the team's website is to be believed, that you will be able to hear the games on 1070.

Another year... and hockey's back! Can't wait! I hope the excitement's building for you guys in Houston like it is for us in Winnipeg. I for one was excited to see that the season opener was against you guys because we played you at the end of the season last year, so the rivalry still feels fresh. Much better than someone like Norfolk or Milwaukee, who I don't give a hoot about.

But it's been exciting seeing all the new ad campaigns starting up over the last month or two, seeing new posters going up downtown around the MTS Centre and on the sides of the buses to highlight new players, since many of our old media favourites have left the team.

I was just curious if anyone was actually travelling to Winnipeg to see the games. If so, welcome!

For anyone who hasn't checked aeros.com lately ... the 2009-2010 Roster is now up ...

It is up, but as of 5 p.m. Thursday still incomplete. There are several players missing, and I think that is because they are still in the process of being assigned jersey numbers.

Should see something official and completely by tomorrow morning.

What is the quality of the game broadcasts??

I am not doing Center Ice this year since I get NHL Network with the cable package...and am tempted to get a package to watch the Aeros for some of their games...

It's pretty good. Definitely an internet feed, but in terms of connecting and stuff, it was solid most of the season. You could try one game to see how you like it.

there are some flexible ticket packages at all levels.. well worth cheching out and going, and many games will be on weekends.

Thanks for the feedback, Ms. Conduct. I will give it a shot soon. I decided not to try it tonight since the penguins vs. Groinerik is on...

That means I expect a full scouting report on every Aero player following the game =O
