Late season hero for the Aeros, goalie Matt Climie was signed to a one-year, two-way contract today by the Stars. Dallas now has 3 minor league goalies (Climie, Brent Krahn, who was also signed today, and Richard Bachman) so presumably one will end up in Idaho in the ECHL while the other two battle for the #1 spot in Cedar Park with the Texas Stars, similar to the Aeros goalie situation this past season.

Krahn and Climie will make for a tough tandem. Krahn's play in Chicago was pretty solid other than the game he played for Dallas against the Hawks (got lit up for 6 in 2 pds!).
One could well be in Dallas - the Stars currently do not have a credible back-up for Turco (really smart, trading Smitty).
