It is over...
In spectacular Wild fashion, the team's only hope for getting by Chicago injured himself during warmups. Nik Backstrom pulled something, and Josh Harding will get the call against the 'Hawks. That mean, Darcy Kuemper is on his way to Chicago.

it's so very sad that we're going out this way and not in a blaze of glory as i had hoped.
I'm sure Mike Condon is loving the confidence.
In a way I am only half kidding with this. You can bet your ass the Aeros will play their best defensive game tomorrow.
And Houston teams have a funny way of responding when left for dead. In 2005, our newspaper did a Tomb for the Astros in June, and they went on to play in the World Series.
I think Condon will be okay. I worry most about young guys when they're in shootouts. That's where you see inexperienced goalies (at the level they're at) falter. In that vein, however, the Aeros will have to bend over backwards to avoid breakaways. One would hope they're doing that anyway.

Well, Condon played well before Darcy came back. They guys will just have to step up their game a bit.
