Kuemper is on a plane to San Jose, so the Aeros are down to Reichard and
Aeros GM Jim Mill had to find another backup goalie, and he did just that is so appears.
This changes things for the Aeros dramatically. And not for the better.
Keep an eye out for more trades as the day progresses.

Not having Kuemper and Larsson puts a big ? on our getting to the playoffs. This 10-game homestand isn't going the way most expected and it's pretty scary. Hope the guys step up...we can't afford any more games like last night.
Good luck to Hackett. I don't think he brought his best stuff to the Aeros this season, but I hope he will find his game for the Sabres.

Maybe the Wild are hoping we'll get so disgusted with the situation we will want the Aeros to leave. This team is turning into a circus and quickly.
It's all part of being an affiliate ie farm team our needs come well second of the primary club. Hack needed a fresh start and it'll do him well to move on. I would have liked to see one reference to the Houston fans that cheered him on all these years but no tweets to us the lowly fans and thus we cheer for players who mostly wished they were elsewhere.
It's funny how the visiting teams to TC seem to show more thanks and gratitude to the Houston fans than our own players do. My son has been given at least 6 pucks all from the "other" teams players.
Anyway on the bright side we have a goalie they traded for with experience, we hope to get hockey in Houston next year and our Swedish net minder is due to come over to the mainland next season.

I hope this doesn't send the wrong message to the guys: cop a bad attitude, and you get traded out of this mess that the Houston Aeros have become.
Maybe they weren't trying hard Tuesday night because they were hoping to be traded and didn't want to mess that up by getting hurt.
Well, down to two no-name goalies. Season over.
Maybe if the Wild move out it will be a blessing in disguise in a few years when a new team moves in. Hopefully one that doesn't lead the league in injuries every year. Yes, we could do worse than the Wild (Florida or Philly, for example) , but it would be hard.
Larsson and Hackett is a steep price, but for proven offense and leadership from Pominville, it's not a horrible trade.
When you add the additional draft picks, that's where it gets friggin' outrageous. A 2013 1st rounder and a 2014 2nd rounder? The Wild are not in "win now" mode, and it puts a lot of pressure on a guy hitting the back end of his prime.
I like Torch. But he is being a bit too much of a gentleman to these guys. This flat stuff deserves a smidgen of fire and brimstone. Best wishes to Hackett and Larsson.
So Hack is going to Rochester with even lower attendance than Houston and probably not as friendly of a fan base. It also looks like they gave Leggio and a couple others already on the Roster so hope that works out for him. I'll have to circle the Amerk game next season assuming there is one here or if not then Stars v Amerks road trip.
